The Part Where He Trolls You
And now to act on some impulses, i.e. make some acts. Firstfully, an unsatisfyingly brief review of what's been going on from my perspective:
Um, well, er.
We were all in college, which is why there have been liek no posts. Since we weren't constantly seeing one another on a daily basis (frequently too, in rapid succession), directly and indirectly reminding each other and those around us about the existence of this silly thing, and given what I have diagnosed to be the fact that, having made this blog pretty much on a whim, we mostly didn't have our hearts in it, when we all went our more or less separate ways in college we forgot about it. (Am I right?) Also, I know I've frequently logged on and found the lack of recent posts a deterrent from adding my own, getting the impression nobody would be around to read it, and I surmise this has happened to the rest of us as well. Integrate this over the span of about a year and the blog is a neglected mess. Kinda like Aperture Laboratories at the beginning of Portal 2 actually, making my above reference somewhat less random.
Random...
Also I've been playing an unhealthy amount of Minecraft, and that's all I have left to say at the moment. A toast now, to future crazy and random, yet fun, happenstances during the existence of what I have now claimed as MY Blog.
(bwahaha again, quietly, then "forever alone" face)
P.S. I've also recolored it, heeheehee.

Goodbye......
Unfortunately, now is the sad time in which I bid all of you adieu, I am leaving the charge of the E-mail address to whoever in the blog wishes it, so if you have any questions, complaints, threats, allegations, please forward them to ticnag@gmail.com, the address for my new blog: The Interweb Consortium for Nerds and Geeks. I hope to stay in close connection to tbcrh as it is the parent, albeit not affiliated, blog of the one I have recently created.
All of my posts have been moved over so if you want to read them, you will have to come and read my posts over there, otherwise, I wish you enjoyment in reading the articles over here at tbcrh. When I finish this post I will be signing out and canceling my ability to post, so I hope we can connect in some other way.
I'd like to thank both all of the posters and all of the readers for giving me this fantastic experience, I truly have enjoyed it.
Farewells and Valedictions,

Another Notice to the Readers
The King of the Blog could not post this week, so I have been requested to do this week's post. Unfortunately, there was no actual post, so I'll just take this time to discuss the state of the blog.
You may be aware that the blog has been "dying" (again) as of late. This was originally started as a sort of fun project for a bunch of nerdy friends to post about nerdy things. The problem is, a) we have little to no readers (hard to tell since no one talks) b) Without readers, the posters get lazy and consider this a low priority.
It just seems that this blog was never meant to last. With that in mind, I'm going to abstain from future blog posting unless this blog suddenly gains a decent reader base because without that, this is just sucking up time for no reason.
Farewell,
Professor of the Blog

Synopsis for Week 9
Our posters are enjoying their hiatuses! (I assume laziness is the root cause)
The only post this week was on Wednesday, where the King of the Blog gives an overview on what forums and chat rooms are, and what the main differences between the 2 are.
I can't speak for the others, but rest assured, I will be posting this week.
As always, feel free to go back and comment on our posts (please do) and to pointlessly argue negligible things, as nerds tend to do. Also, feel free to email the blog at tbcrh1@gmail.com
Signing out,

Happy Winter-een-mas
Greetings, readers of the blog. This post is obscenely early, but it is on Tuesday. I am going to continue my deviation from the topic of music as I believe there are more important things this week. My subject of the week shall be the holiday that is in multiple posts and our group New Year’s resolution: Winter-een-mas.
As mentioned in previous posts, Winter-een-mas is a celebration for gamers designed and implemented in Tim Buckley’s Ctrl+Alt+Del webcomic. The holiday itself lasts the week of January 25th-31st, but is commonly celebrated throughout January. Each of the seven days is dedicated to a different genre of game described here by the almighty Wikipedia:
January 26th: First Person Shooter (FPS) games, with a 21 year-old sleep deprived gamer as its symbol.
January 27th: Fighting games, represented by a martial artist with too many blows to the head
January 28th: Real-time Strategy (RTS) games, whose emblem is a large bearded man with a pocket protector inside another pocket protector.
January 29th: Racing games, shown as a racer with old-fashioned racing helmet and racing goggles holding a detached steering wheel.
January 30th: Role Playing Games (RPGs), depicted as an elf-like woman holding floating dice above her left hand.
January 31st: Sports games, with a round, middle-aged man wearing a #10 jersey and holding a beer bottle in each hand as its emblem.
Celebrations for Winter-een-mas vary depending on the person or the size of group involved. Most commonly, long hours are spent on continuous gaming and, notably, not sleeping. Video game music, small conventions, and game-related art may also be involved. However, another thing gamers should be looking for is the Winter-een-mas sale from EB Games and select other game stores, which do indeed recognize the holiday.
My personal plans for the season include several amazing games, the latter four of which are new to me:
Dungeons and Dragons Online
Minecraft
Spore
Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword
Pokemon Ruby
Pokemon Platinum
Fate
Fate: Undiscovered Realms
Torchlight
Gauntlet: Dark Legacy (something I bought on a whim today because it is the sequel to an arcade favorite in my family and was on sale for $3 – don’t ask me how it is yet)
Feel free to give any of your own plans or suggestions in the comments. If you have yet to read the comics pertaining to Winter-een-mas, you should do so. They begin in 2003 and continue in January each subsequent year, including this one.
A presto!

The Blog is dying... again.
Last week, I promised that I would do less of a cope out post, but I'm afraid that I'll have to for now (I'll update this with an actual post later, hopefully). I do hope that the blog revives after the break, as it has been neglected.
