Since nobody else has made a legitimate post this week, here's a poem:

Why I love Haikus:
they are real easy to write
unless you can't count.

Haikus are more fun
when you make them extra long
adding more stanzas.

But it's really lame
when noobs use cheap cop-outs like
"Refrigerator."

  1. Hey, I made a legitimate post. It just so happened to be written in about 20 minutes. Most of my best papers start that way xD

  2. I see a complete lack of seasonal words in these haiku. I am disappoint.

  3. excuse me, I seriously resent that. Look to the ironic post which was planned in advance. I think 1000 words is nothing to really sneeze at. More than your haiku that doesn't have any natural attributes, making it not haiku, and see above with Entropy's comment as well. Also... where is your first post that has something actually relevant to the blog? And I'm pretty sure that this comment will be deleted, but that's fine as long as you change your title.....

  4. Let's not get all mad about it here. Yes, it was somewhat inconsiderately named, but there's no reason to go attacking his posts. I have no doubt that there's something each of us could complain about in every post, but I won't have that debate started. If there is a legitimate problem it needn't be posted for our esteemed audience to see.

  5. I find this ironic cause this poem is as much of a cop out as the posts that it insults.

Anyway, haiku's aren't easy to write. Real Haikus have the same number of CHARACTERS on every line in addition to the 5/7/5 syllable count. Not to mention that real ones are supposed to contain actual complexity.

Oh, change the title. People are finding it offensive as you've no doubt seen.

  6. [sigh]Parameciumkid, change the title. Everyone else, stop attacking each other about it. There's no need for this nonsense and it's beginning to really bug me. If you have anything negative to say, don't.
